The logo of Region Alsace

In this predominantly blue logo, the main star represents modern France on the move.
The Alsatian territory, clearly identified by its geographical position, is in yellow; in combination with the blue, it recalls the European colours, thus unambiguously indicating the role of dynamic ambassador that Alsace plays in relation to Europe.
The coat of arms of Alsace

The historic coat of arms of Alsace was created in the 17th century under the Holy Empire and subsequently adopted under the French regime by the Intendancy of Alsace. It combines the two escutcheons of the former “landgraviats” of Upper and Lower Alsace, taken up later by the Départements of Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin in a beautiful expression of identity.
